Gergask Primary School is a small school but it
is a very happy school in the Highlands of Scotland.
This year there are 29 pupils in the school in 3
classes. You start in nursery and leave after P7
when you go to Kingussie High School.
We do lots of different things at Gergask and we
would like to tell you about some of them.
Quite a lot of
people like Maths and I like Maths too. I like doing
times tables best of all.

We are lucky enough to have a
Tuck shop at Gergask. We have cereal bars, chewy
bars, lots of fruit, juice, Hot Cross buns and my
favourite is Flap Jacks.
Every Friday we go up to the village hail to do
P.E. I enjoy doing P.E because we do lots of
different activities.
We have personal project time at Gergask. We have
15 minutes. If we have worked hard we get 15 minutes
but if we haven’t we might lose 5 minutes! We do
what we like for our personal project. I’m doing
lop-eared rabbits this term.
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we have
homework and we have a night off on Friday. If we
earn 10 stamps we get Thursday night off too!
Sometimes we do story writing and sometimes
non-fiction writing but I really like making up my
own stories best of all.
Finally we have a
very happy playground. We like playing catchy and
other games too.
