Cycle path crossing survey - have your say

Posted on

Laggan Community Council and Laggan Forest Trust are working to secure an Active Travel route between Laggan Village centre (Gergask) and Strathmashie. Funding for the design stages is being provided by Sustrans through the Places for Everyone Scheme.

The project has undertaken the Concept Design stage, which has identified a potential route and the features that will be required to make it safe and accessible. We have been working with the landowners and Transport Scotland to try to meet all their requirements. Moving forward, we are asking residents for their views on a small number of options to ensure that your views are properly taken into account.

The diagram shows the area around the Laggan junction of the A86(T), and River Spey road bridge for reference. A key part of the project is the creation of a safe crossing point (shown light green on the diagram) between both bus stops by Laggan Church.
